Exonuclease VIII, truncated

- Double-stranded DNA specific exonuclease
- Initiates at the 5′ termini of linear double-stranded DNA
- Catalyzes the removal of nucleotides from linear double-stranded DNA in the 5′ to 3′ direction

- Removal of linear double-stranded DNA, leaving behind circular DNA in the sample
